Call for Nominations for the 2017 Inorganic Chemistry Lectureship
Inorganic Chemistry and the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry (DIC) are pleased to solicit nominations for the 2017Inorganic Chemistry Lectureship. This annual award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated broad creativity and impact in leading research in Inorganic Chemistry. Nominations must be received by December 15, 2016. The recipient of the 2017 Lectureship will be awarded a $3000 honorarium, an award plaque, and will be given up to $1500 in travel support to attend the 2017 Fall ACS National Meeting in Washington, DC and present at an award symposium in their honor. Past winners include:
2016 – Dr. Serena DeBeer, Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion
2015 – Dr. Daniel Gamelin, University of Washington
2014 – Dr. Jeffrey Long, University of California, Berkeley
2013 – Dr. Christopher Cummins, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Eligible nominees must be 46 years of age or younger, as of December 31, 2016. Nominations may be submitted via https://acspubs.formstack.com/forms/fall_lectureship_ic and only require a brief description of the nominee’s accomplishments and a list of key publications. Nominations must be received by December 15, 2016, and the winner will be chosen and announced early in 2017.
